1990's corte woven on a foot loom.  This is all one Mayan woman's skirt.  Because it is joined on each end, she will get inside it and wrap it several times, tuck in her huipil, and belt it.  Very intiricate weave with bands of jaspe running throughout the cloth. 

Colors are very vibrant.  There was an additional length of cloth added to the bottom of this corte.  Cloth is very soft due to age.  Excellent condition.
