Cinta from Almolonga, Guatemala

This 1970's cinta or hand-woven
hair sash was woven on a back-strap loom. The designs are
beautifully executed. This is a very nice addition to any
collection of traditional Guatemalan textiles and would make a
wonderful accent piece around a door.
