28" across x 44" long open on the sides

This 1990s  huipil was woven on a back-strap loom in 2 panels..  Base cloth is black with birds and geometric designs woven throughout.  There is just a slit for a neck opening so if you don't wear your huipils, this would also make a nice table clover or wall hanging.  There are a few loose threads but overall this is a tightly woven piece in great condition.
