This huipil was made by Catarina below.  This is one of the few villages that uses brocaded designs on the back of the huipil.  This fairly new daily use huipil has geometric figures embroidered in acrylic and rayon on two backstrap-woven cotton panels.  The front of the huipil is only embroidered at the neck.  Other than a few loose threads in the embroidery, this huipil is in excellent condition.
