This carving of Jesus carrying his cross is approximately 20 years old.  There is a crack down the front that runs from his hands down to the base.  Also, at one time it appears the fingers wrapped around the cross and have broken off.   He now does not easily carry the cross.  Once he is situated, it might be a good idea to tie or glue the cross to his hand.  Regardless of the condition, it is still a very nice piece.
